Your first business website starts with your business.
You can have a real business before you have a website. If customers currently find you through referrals, Facebook, or a Google listing, a focused website gives them one place to understand your services, see your work, and contact you. Boise-based IDrebuild builds first websites for owner-led service businesses in Idaho and works remotely with clients nationwide.
Start with the essentials you already have.
You do not need to buy a domain or write a polished brief before asking about a project. Start with your business name, the work you do, the areas you serve, and the best way for a customer to reach you. An existing social page or business listing can help explain the business, but it is optional.
- Your main services and the customers each service is for
- Your actual service area and business contact details
- A logo, if you have one, and photos you have permission to use
- Real examples of completed work and permissioned customer feedback
- The next step you want visitors to take: call, ask for a quote, or send an inquiry
Missing material is something to discuss during planning. We identify what is needed and give you a checklist before the full build.
Choose pages around customer questions.
A first website should answer what you do, who you serve, why someone should trust the business, and how to get in touch. Home, Services, About, Work, and Contact are a possible five-page structure. The right set depends on your business and the material available.
The core website scope includes up to five standard pages, mobile-first design, light homepage and service-copy cleanup, basic on-page SEO, contact-form setup and testing, and two revision rounds. We agree on the pages and responsibilities before work starts.
Know the price and the separate costs.
New websites start at $500. Your final quote depends on pages, content, and complexity, with 50% to begin and 50% before launch. Domain registration, hosting, and paid software are separate. Ecommerce catalogs, complex booking systems, and custom applications need their own scope.
The target is about 10 business days after the deposit and all required, approved content are received. You review the homepage direction before the full build. After launch, you can manage the site yourself or choose the optional $99/month care plan. Review the full pricing and scope →
